have seen this for sale in asda, it basically says it will remove your hair colour (dye) back to what your original is, have seen these used on the tv on something like 10 years younger when people have over dyed their hair then the expert re-colours to suit, package then says this can be done before getting a salon to dye it, so my question is has anyone used a home kit cos i want to give it try but then want to re-colour at home not go to a salon, thanx

I used one, and it was rubbish. it made my hair go lighter, and left some strange peachy coloured marks on my top!

I'd suggest going to a hairdresser to get it done properly.
I have read reviews on this stuff and most of them have been bad. It invariably leaves your hair an orangey colour due to most dyes having some peroxide in them (even darkish ones) and it is also horribly smelly.
*puts hand up*

mine went orangey :o/

no offence to any oranges out there..

will have another look at the box when i next go to asda but i am certain this one says it doesnt contain peroxide or amonia so maybe thats how some can go wrong
Be wary if its a strip tint, as your is weakened and will snap off.
insert *hair* before weakened
i thought any hair dye with peroxide in stripped the colour out of the hair shaft so it would be impossible to take it back to its original colour just have to wait for the colour that been put in to grow out?
