Retin A Gel or Cream

Hi
Does anyone know where to buy retin a gel or cream in the UK without a prescription? Or could someone recommend a really good over the counter retin a cream, I was thinking of ROC but wasn't sure if it really had much retinol in it.

Forget it!

Retin-A contains a powerful drug (Tretinoin), which has many known side effects (including thinning of the skin and birth defects). It should only ever be used under medical direction and for the specific conditions which it is designed to treat (such as severe acne). Any source offering it without a prescription will be doing so illegally, with a high risk of the product which is sold actually being a dangerous fake.

The way that skin ages suggests that NO topical treatment (whether that be a cream, gel, lotion or anything else) will EVER be able to get rid of wrinkles
(or the other signs of aging). The best that can be done is simply to hide them. No properly validated study has ever been able to show that ANY such product actually works (or will ever do so in the future). Don't waste your money.

Over the counter creams are restricted as to how much retinol they can have in them. I think No 7 Protect and Perfect serum have retynil palmitate in it which is a derivative (I think) and that`s had good reviews. Vichy do one as well but if you just want one for the retinol you might as well go for the cheaper option.

The roc ones are good moisturiser creams not sure if they are much more than that though... used to use their pure retinol eye corrector but it made me itchy so I had to stop
