Regardless of what one may think of Sarah Ferguson or Royalty in general, should she take any notice of Turkey's accusations against her and the journalists?

If found guilty in the Turkish court, would they be able to seek her extradition back to Turkey?

Failing that, if at any time Turkey is successful in gaining EU membership, what would the implications be then?

So are they saying that the children were not tied to the beds?
Any Z list Turkish celebrity is welcome to illegally film in any of our care homes and show the result on national television. All our care for the elderly and young is perfect in this country, we have nothing to hide.

Sarah Ferguson will be long dead before Turkey is admitted to the EU.
"Sarah Ferguson will be long dead before Turkey is admitted to the EU"

regarding the latter part of that, we can but hope
I reckon that bankrupt Turkey is looking for huge damages in lieu of prison...I reckon hell will freeze over first.
Turkey Bankrupt? - Are you mistaking them for Greece?

// Turkey has the world's 15th largest GDP-PPP and 17th largest Nominal GDP.
By 2009 exports were $110 bn and in 2010 it was $117 bn (main export partners in 2009: Germany 10%, France 6%, UK 6%, Italy 6%.
After years of low levels of foreign direct investment (FDI), Turkey succeeded in attracting $22 billion in FDI in 2007 and is expected to attract a higher figure in following years.[108] A series of large privatisations, the stability fostered by the start of Turkey's EU accession negotiations, strong and stable growth, and structural changes in the banking, retail, and telecommunications sectors have all contributed to a rise in foreign investment. //
It must be a slow news day
Does anyone actually care?

I will repeat

/// Regardless of what one may think of Sarah Ferguson or Royalty in general, ///

I added this to stop this thread turning into a anti-Fergie/Royal rant.
Good luck with that then.
I did not see the TV Programme, and I also do not know if its investigations and and pictures were fair. If they were, you would think those responsible would argue their case and not hide from the courts.

Again, I am guessing, but I would think because of her Royal connections, she gained priviliged access to these orphanages. The people running them would have hoped that funds for extra staff to properly look after the children could result. Instead they just got bad publicity.
A genuine question gromit with no undertones, if Turkey is so stable why are they are they so bent on joining the EU, surely they would consolidate with an Asian union.
"so hell bent" Sorry
tell them to get stuffed, and any chance of their gaining entry to the EU will go west if they try.
I'd agree to them joining the EU just to get rid of her..................
No, whether one cares for her or not, firstly she was married to a Prince of the Realm, secondly she has two young daughters, one of whom accompanied her on that trip, their grandmother being the Queen. so you would have these two women dragged back to face what exactly?
Hardly likely to happen, and i am sure Her Majesty would have something to say about it.
I know em "Off with their heads" LOL
Brenden, who Sarah, the girls, or the people who conjured up this nonsense.
Not Sarah I am a royalist, Those stupid people who want to extradite her.
I would think the Queen would take a very dim view of her grandchild being hauled off like common criminal.
they will have to find her first ...
