Checking my credit report on a free trial.
13 Answers
I would love to just check out my credit report via the 30 day free trial on the credit expert website and I have noticed that you need to put in your card details, obviously I understand why I need to do that. However if I check my credit score I would probably close the account the same day. What I want to know is
1) Has anybody else been on the credit expert website and done this?
2) Is it easy to close my account down?
3) Is there any hidden fees?
Any help would be appreciated.

I'd use TopCashback as they charge no annual fee. There is no catch. I use them a lot

EEK ! go for the £2 once off credit report.
easy and who wants more than one credit report a year ?
SOmewhere on the Experian site
there should be a box you can toggle that asks if you want
the £2 option.
This is not the credit companies being nice
it is a statutory requirement - that they offer a credit report for two knicker
it is there somewhere.
I have used this option when someone sidled up to me and
said rumour is there is a CCJ against you.....
[ having a CCJ does terrible things to your credit]
