Ghd Hair Staighteners

I got some for christmas from Jacamo catalogue/ They look like the real deal but I think there not getting hot enough. I have borrowed my sisters before and found them amazing and my hair was unbearable hot to touch. however these ones arent. Can you get faulty real ones?

They should have a Hollographic athenticity code on the underside. You can check on the official GHD website if your straighteners are authentic

they do and they are but think theres something wrong with the temp ill ring ghd on monday

I have genuine ghds bought from ghd and they don't heat up to the extent your sisters apparently do.

According to my friendly pro hairdresser ( Mrs Slapshot) GHDs do get pretty hot. Either way she says speak to GHD about it and secondly always use a good heat treatment serum to protect you hair from burning!

I think mine continue to get hotter even after the wee beep sound that tells me they are ready. Don't know whether that is supposed to happen or not.
