I don't wear make-up, only mascara so I am new to foundation/powder. Please can anyone tell me a really light powder/foundation/face make-up that doesn't bloke pores or cause spots. The lighter the better. Can you please give recommendations on ones you've tried. Thank you very much.

I use L'Oreal BB cream, it's very light, same as you, I don't wear foundations and what not as it makes my skin crawl.

Thanks, I've just googled one called "Nude Magique", is that the one?
Clinique..porcelain beige....

Thanks Murraymints, what is that one like? PS I don't mean light in colour, although I probably will need a light coloured one.
Max Factor 'Miracle Touch' foundation. It goes on as a cream, and dries instantly as a powder. Quite light and sheer. I'm prone to eczema and have no problems using it.
Bare Minerals foundation is lovely. It's in powder form and stays on all day.
I very rarely use foundation, but if I do it's Clinique. For day to day I use Avon Sheer Tint Moisturiser......
Hi Marijin, Guerlain do a fabulous light foundation that you can almost see through call 'lingerie de peau' . Expensive but you need just the slightest amount, its hypo-allergenic and slightly matt so no need for powder. I get mine from House of Fraser. Don't get the compact as its too heavy, the liquid is what I would recommend.

Yes that's the one Mari.

Thanks for all the answers so far. I should've said I only want to use one thing on my face, not foundation AND powder. Are all the recommendations so far, ok on their own? Thank you.
marijin, the Guerlain foundation I put the link up for, I use on its own in the Winter no need for powder. In the Summer I dust over with a bit of bronzer.
Nivea or Olay tinted moisturiser are as good as anything .They blend in well ,cover any imperfections and give you a nice dewy glow :)
Question Author
Thank you Epona, I wonder if it can be bought cheaper than £37.
Question Author
Nivea and Olay might be good pricewise, thanks.
Yep the BB cream is to use just on it's own
The Max Factor is also to be used on its own.
Question Author
Lovely. Thank you.
I use Avon mineral powder foundation, you just buff it on gently with a brush and you can barely feel it. Its between £5 and £10 usually depending on the offers.
I've started using cosmetics from Aldi, they are surprisingly good and much less costly that the branded items.

Thank you :-)
