Ahh, no B00 and Sherr, each to their own, I'm a long way from Little Miss Glam at the moment! :)
I never had my eyebrows done since I started working after uni, I was taken under the wing of two lovely ladies - I must have looked like I needed to be city'd!
I wash my hair every day, wear clean clothes every day, wear make up whenever I leave the house, go for facials, manicures and pedicures , get my hair done every. 6-8 weeks, I buy good clothes, I buy expensive beauty products because my skin prefers them the only thing I don't do is spray tan because I have olive skin so it's not really needed.
I enjoy being pampered, my job is very un-glamorous so I need all the help I can get! :)
I knew someone who always wore a full face of makeup - quite full on makeup. She said she was never without it, the only time she didn't have make up on was when she took it off only to put it straight back on, she said she even slept in it.
I'm very low maintenance, only wear make up when I'm meeting peope or going to the pub, I epilate myself, I dye my hair myself (religiously) and paint my own toenails. I really can't be arsed to go to a salon though I would like a facial and I fancy having a brazilian wax but I'm too scared ;)
I can't BEAR the thought of anybody fiddling with my feet! Fingernails short because I do a lot of gardening. Get my hair coloured professionally. Always wear mascara if I leave the house. I like "funky" clothes, or at least something different. LOVE my jeans too. Tan - what's that? Pale and interesting - that's me.
My daughter has just started kick boxing and a girl there who has also just started turned up with a face full of slap and false eyelashes, she looked fab after the hour was finished.
I've just realised that I haven't actually had my hair cut for 8 years - but I don't use dye or a hair dryer in it there aren't any split ends and I wear it in a plait anyway. God, starting to sound like a right hag!
It's an experience Rocky! In my "I will go swimming" mode a few months back I took advantage of an offer in my beauty place for a full leg and bikini wax. I don't find leg waxing bad though the bikini bit was sore (I think the tauter the skin is the better, anywhere) and the area quite tender and grumpy afterwards!
Wasn't too impressed with the girl who did it though, she a lot of wax residue on, tried to wax bits there wasn't hair on etc... I think I'd ask for specific ones if I brave it again.
(I did actually want a Brazilian but it wasn't in the offer and cost a lot more, I think the bikini one was quite enough for my first experience down there though!)
