Is there anything you can possibly use to 'fade' stretch marks? I went on the contraceptive injection and gained weight so quickly my upper arms have red stretch marks, I came off it and am now losing the weight again but don't know what to do about these marks, I can't wear anything too short sleeved anymore :(

Stretch marks do fade over time naturally but you want to get your self some vitamin E cream, or even better get vitamin capsules in the vitamin department and literally pop them and smear the contents on the strech marks. It does work you know!!
Jenni  they do fade and if you can go sleeveless, they will tan, which will hide them more :-)
Bio Oil is great, get it from boots or superdrug, its a small bottle but you only need a bit, it is a little wonder product!!
All hail Bio Oil! Fabulous for stretch marks and for when your skin is generally yukky.

Hi, Ive used bio oil, and still do, but it hasnt made a difference to the marks on my thigh+hips which I got from rapid growth spurt at school, and more recently and strangely, the marks on the back of my knees/ upper calves (no more skirts!). Im hoping with time it will help, Ive used it on/off for a few months.

goodluck jenni, i know how u feel :(

Hiya, i have found that cocoa butter is really good for stretch marks, you can get it from the bodyshop
Someone told me that Bio Oil is really good as well. They will fade in time though.

Thanks for all the advice - maybe will try that Bio-Oil, but have seen rather mixed reviews about it, for some women its a miracle in a bottle and others say it doesn't do anything!
If they do not go away you could consider having one of those black "tribal" tattoos to cover them.. Actually they look very good on most people, unlike some tattoos where the colours fade
If all else fails dearie perhaps you can rent yourself out as a roadmap TATA
Hi ,
I have always had pretty bad stretch marks around my belly region ever since I gave birth to my three kids.I had tried Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter which a number of people had recommended but it didn't seem to work. My Doctor had even suggested a Tummy Tuck. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked really well. My stretch marks disappeared in 3 weeks. You can read more about the lady's article at the link below.
