Hi Squad,Recently my wife of 78 years had a blood test, this was followed by a letter to see her doctor. We saw the doctor on Monday and she said my OH had raised red and white blood cells and was referring her to the hospital for checks. I informed the doc of other symptoms my OH is suffering with ie
Severe head sweats even on cool nights.
Loss of weight over past 2 months.
Regular Diahrea

I asked her if these could be related to a Thyroid problem and the raised blood cells, she immediately dismissed this by saying my OH was tested for this at an earlier date.

Grateful for any comments or thoughts you may have.

Oops, sent to soon.....at an earlier date. She also suffers a great deal of Phantom Pain as she is a BKA. and is often stressed out.
I can see no relationship between the blood test, the symptoms that she is suffering and her "thyroid problem."

I would need to know more about the abnormal "blood test" before commenting on it's significance.

The loss of weight and diarrhea may well explain her blood test results.

I am sorry that i cannot be more specific at this time.
I have just received your your second post (cross posted)...........it is difficult to imagine that "stress" is playing any part in her blood test abnormality.

Will be interested in any updates.

Thanks for that Squad, just hoping the hospital visit doesn't take to long.
