Does anyone who drunk American Cream Soda in the past, remember the name of a perfume with a similar unmistakable aroma?. I would like to buy some for my wife for Christmas. Many thanks oldies.

Is it a classic perfume or a modern celebrity type? Cream soda is predominately vanilla flavour and a classic vanilla perfume is Shalimar by Guerlain.
vannilla fields ??
This was described as smelling just like American Cream Soda in the reviews, but I don't know of it personally.

I love vanilla...and adore Shalimar. But there is no way I'd say Shalimar is a vanilla perfume.
We all smell things differently but that is what Shalimar is known for

As soon as I saw the question, Shalimar popped into my head...Used to love the smell of that.
True...though I've always thought of it as oriental. Its been a while since ive worn it...I have a new bottle from my birthday...think I have to emerse myself in it.

Many thanks guys. Will pursue your leads this week.
I think Body Shop had something that I always thought was like Cream Soda. Used to love that drink when we were kids and the Popman came round, my kids called it Dead Lion and Burnt Dog.
I'm not quite sure why you said oldies, you can still buy cream soda can't you?
Zebo,, dead lion and burnt dog is dandelion and burdock!
Whoops, I managed to delete half a sentence, I originally wrote dandelion and burdock!
