Any Hairdressers?

I had highlighted hair and asked a new hairdresser for ombré but they put a light red on my roots and underneath and left the blonde (not what I asked for) It washed out after one wash and left it ginger so my friend who is a hairdresser but a 5.3 (I think- it was medium brown with a golden in) all over which looked nice but now it's faded. She's now suggesting putting a 4 all over- does this sound right? I don't want to end up khaki or ginger

Wot is ombré and wot is your natural color. If your roots are brown/black best you stay in 5+ range for base with added hi-lites. It should last 6weeks.
