I have had problems with a feeling of severe pressure in my head and ringing in my ears. my hearing is sensitive and high pitched noises like a doorbell or whistling really hurts my hearing. I am tired all the time and I feel dis orientated. I also have a great deal of wind and my stomach is constantly making noises and I am gurning and gritting my teeth regularly. I wake up with jaw pain because I am sleeping under pressure. and I am finding blood in my nose.
I have suffered anxiety for many years but have never had symptoms like this and it has been like this now for nearly 8 weeks. I have seen my GP who has told me that it is just stress although I do not have any reason to feel stressed.
I do feel like I am going crazy because the pressure inside my head coupled with the tinnitus and the gurning is really causing me concern. My GP has given me pills to calm me down and they do not change anything.
Since you have seen your GP I'd have thought they would have ruled out anything sinister and checked the obvious likely causes. If you have been prescribed calming pills I'd suspect they think it is stress and are presently trying to sort that. If you think it could be something else I guess you could ask for a second opinion.
Sounds to me as if your list of symptoms may well have multiple causes. For example haver you increased the amount of vegetables you eat of late ? That could cause rumblings and wind.
OLD GEEZER
Thanks for taking time to reply. I haven't changed my diet in any way at all although I should probably increase the amount of fruit and veg in my diet, nothing has changed but I am parping like the tuba section of a brass band!
I have been on pills for over 8 weeks now and there has been no difference. I will give it a few days and see how it goes but was just wondering if anyone else had these sypomtoms and had a different diagnosis.
You could have a wheat or Dairy intolerance. My Son was the same and for him it was Dairy. That's for the wind side of things, can;t help with the head. Hope you feel better soon x
I hope I don't have a dairy intolerance I have been living off it all my life but that is a good point. I have never had symptoms like this before and I have been in good health all my life (not even a filling) and I am almost 40.
I may see a nutritionist see if that helps. Thanks
I am not convinced that your symptoms can merely be put down to "stress"......i certainly cannot explain your nose bleeds on the basis of "stress."
Jaw pain needs further thoughts as to the cause.
I would go back to your GP and ask if you could see a Specialist.....Cardiologist or General Physician.
Thanks sqad
I generally feel fine on a day to day basis, I just have a lot of nervous energy which sometimes makes me anxious but i have never had symptoms like these before.
I have got an appointment with my GP again and hopefully I can get a second opinion.
I have no problem relaxing at all, I have regular saunas and I exercise regularly and I listen to healing binural music, which puts me into a deep sleep although I have no problem sleeping. I could understand it being stress but it is with me from the moment i wake up to the moment i sleep regardless of how happy I feel. and I have a pretty good life no more stressful than anyone else, so it is a bit of a concern.
