... that you look like someone famous? Or is one of your closed loved ones a dead ringer for someone famous?
It was bugging me for ages who my OH looks like. For anyone who remembers John James who played Jeff Colby in Dynasty, and latterly The Colbys, my OH looks just like him but without the thick mop of hair and with a slightly more rounded face.
I've been told I look like a cross between Catherine Zeta Jones and someone else (can't remember) by another Aber. Twice when I was a teenager I got told I looked like Cher (I don't agree).
Hi, NoM....my theatrical friends would often tell me I looked like a young Ruby Keeler.....I trust I age better.... (that sounds bichy).... she probably had more sun than I did....but I can see the likeness when we were both young....
MrG looked like John Thaw....he traveled away a lot when the children were little but if they saw a photo of John Thaw in the paper or saw him on TV that's where they thought daddy was....
The most amazing...or maybe worst was when Stavros Flatley appeared on BGT.....I wasn't watching but my phone rang all night with folk telling me to have a look....
Stavros and his son are the double of my son and grandson as he was then....he's slimmed up now...
They did meet and the photos of the four of them are quite stunning.....Stavros did ask my son if they'd fill in should they ever be unable to perform....my grandson was far from amused... :-)
My Dad was quite like a cross between Gabriel Byrne and Patrick Dempsey when he was younger, but that's quote a typical Irish look anyway. I was once due to be hired as a double for Kat Dennings, so presumably her for myself and my brother is the absolute double of ( could seriously be mistaken for) Anthony Kiedis.
When I was a lot younger I was told I looked like Wincey Willis.
When I met OH 28 years ago he looked like Michael Elphick who I think played Boon.
He doesn't now though!
Someone once told me I looked like one of the Bronte sisters. Unfortunately I don't think they meant the prettiest one Charlotte, but the grumpiest-looking one Anne.
Caran....I used to adore Michael Elphick....loved him in Boon....I was driving to Nottingham for a day out when my front tooth fell out....never mind....I'll keep my mouth shut and who'g going to see me anyway.....
Going around a corner I bumped into Elphick who was filming.....he caught hold of me....smiled and said hello......I couldn't even open my mouth because of the big gaping hole..... :-(
