Tattoo Aftercare

I have looked on the internet and there seems to be lost of different opinions on what is best for looking after tattoos.
But I have just had once completed yesterday, and have tried to put Savelon cream on, however it is in such a position that I can't really get to it all - and I have no onw with me daily that could put it on me. Would Savlon Spray work? Has anyone used it? TIAx

Speak to your tattooist - who better to advise than him / her.

I am sure if you need cream or treatment applied, they would do that for you.

I think Savlon Spray would be ideal, but i have no personal experience of it as i have no tattoos.

I used E45 works best for me, cleaned it with Dermol 500 wash. They usually don’t recommend Savlon. Bepanthen is widely recommended but I’m allergic.

LUSH make two products tgat are said to be good for tattoos...'Elbow Grease' and 'Dream Cream'...both mentioned in this article, along with other suggestions.

I do not advise savalon. I advise a palmers cream one like this.

Can't imagine a spray begin beneficial. The reason for putting cream or spray on a tattoo is to stop it drying out. I can't see savalon helping with this. Can only see it stopping infection. (Rare in UK anyhow)
