HELP! my hair is a mess!

I really need some advise. i recentley brought a home highliting kit that turned my mousy hair orange. so i decided to go to a salon to try to get it fixed, but they only put more bleach highlights on my hair and now its a mix of platnum, and light blonde with hints of copper. I hate it. I'd really like to go light brown with hints of blonde, but I'm not sure how long i would have to wait to put a dark dye. any suggestions.

you could dye it now..but the best thing to do is put a red colour on first to replace the pigment thats been bleached out..clairol hydrience do one called amber sunrise ..thats a light reddish blonde..when you have washed it off and dried your hair put a mid brown dye on..and that should do the trick..p.s you can buy clairol hydrience at superdrug..

Would be really interested to know how you get on with this Toria, if you try it - cos I have the same problem. Its over bleached and lifeless. Natural colour is a light brown (I think) its been so long since Ive seen it....
Anyway if you do try it let us know how it goes.

yeah you can dye it brown now,my hair was really dyed platinum blonde,i went to the hair dresser and they did it brown (semi permanent(for me using some red dye in with the brown to change the pigment(or will go green!!)my hair came out a lovely dark brown.it did fade a bit but i had it done again the next time i went for a trim and that was about 3 months a go and its really stayed in.go for it!
