Nail Polish remover was accidentally spilt on my computer desk and it has created a nasty blister on the wood, the blister burst so we began to peel a little bit to make it look at least half presentable! The only problem is the blister has left like a hard skin in the shape of where it was.

Is there any way of getting rid of this hard skin? We were thinking of sanding it but that would only create scratches on the desk!!!

Anyone had this problem before??

The Acetone in the nail varnish remover has melted the laminate on your desk. Not much you can do. You can rub it down to make it protrude less but that will only scratch and mark the desk making it look worse.
