hair straighteners cordless
7 Answers
Hi, can anyone recommend some cordless hair straighteners that would be good to take camping etc. I've bought a pair in the past that have been useless... they don't get beyond luke warm and pull your hair out at the same time for good measure. Anyone got any suggestions?

There is a cheap set (Babyliss gas powered, 19.99) in the new Argos catalogue but I'm not sure if they will be any good. If they are the ones you have already tried, can you let me know so I don't waste my money? There are more expensive versions available on internet sites but I am a bit relucant to spend 80+. Thanks.
I bought some Morphy Richards ones years and years ago, but they were awful. Was hoping technology might have improved since then! I looked at the Babyliss ones too, but they've got bad reviews. There are some cordless ones by Morphy Richards that are about 100 that got great reviews, but you still need the base plugged in to charge up the straighteners every 5-10 mins, so they'd be good if you just wanted to get out of having power cords everywhere, but if you want something for camping that's gas powered, then they're no good. I'll keep looking! :)
Thanks for that. I have been doing a bit more searching and have come across a couple of others that use rechargeable batteries that refresh as you use them, so should be okay for camping (charge lasts approximately 30-60 minutes). They are 1) Trulife Kodo cordless straighteners or 2) Neocurl Corioliss cordless straighteners. Try www.powertraveller.co.uk for Kodos and www.hairstuffdirect.co.uk for Neocurls. Good luck!
