Hair Colourant

Hi All,
I hope someone can help me....
I've coloured my hair a sunny blonde for about the past 10 years. I always buy Lightest Natural Blonde & no matter what the make, I usually get good results. Boots had a special offer on Recital so I bought Lightest Natural Blonde but it's gone an Ash Blonde so now I look Grey instead of blonde. The helpline's not open till Tuesday as it's bank hol & none of the salons are open till then either. I bought another brand & put it over the top but it didn't make any difference at all. Thanks

Try the loreal kits, that are in a red box for about 10. I have used quite a few of them and love them, i did a colour called toasted coconut, which is a golden type blonde and it worked really well.
you dye it an all over colour then you put highlights in - might need someone to give you a hand as that can be a bit tricky.
Might sound a bit expensive for hair dye, but it works brilliantly. There is quitre a bit of a range of colours too. You could always try a light brown all over colour with light blonde highlights. - if you did that you might not get that many fine all over highlights so once you've done that you could get a kit where you get a 'cap' included (the thing you put over your head and pull bits of hair out) which will give you lots of fine all over highlights.
I recently did mine a dark brown (with the loreal kit) and used the highlight kit in with that, but i wanted some more all over highlights so i got just a superdrugs own highlight kit using the cap (it'll say on the box somewhere if it includes this) - this is a bit tricky to do on your own too but i managed to do it so you shouldnt have a problem. It worked really well.
i hope this helps :-)

Thanks for your advice guys. Hairdressers are all closed till Tues & yes, it looks bad to me, it's got a sort of purpley tinge to it. I look like part of the blue rinse brigade & I'm not that old YET!!!! Don't really want to go brown, blondes have more fun & all that!! OH says I'm too vain but you know what it's like if you don't feel comfortable with something. Suppose I'll have to wait till tues & wear a hat for rest of weekend.
Thanks again XX

what you need to buy is toner. look at the shaders and toners etc (oten only 99p, and only temporary but would do until you get to a hairdressers!)
or look for a permanent/more specialist one. search for 'toners' on google or something and it will tell you what you need. i used to use one that was purpleish to get rid of the yellow tinge bleached hair can sometimes get but i think its different for ash.
