Shampoo recommendations

My boyfriend has very thick wavy hair and it gets quite bouffant and fluffy when he washes it (with shower gel/shampoo). He has now taken to not washing it as much so it gets flatter which I HATE! Any recommendations on a good shampoo and conditioner (possibily manly-ish) which doesn't give you fluffy hair. Thanks!

try something from the lush range, its really good for my natural curly hair

assuming he wont want to use a salon shampoo, timotei with cherry and cotton is good, he should condition it to though, get him some wax for control.
