Avon produce a Bug Guard range e.g. Bug Guard Moisturising Sun Block, Skin So Soft Bug Guard etc. These products have been specifically formulated, tested, licenced and sold as insect repellents. The Skin So Soft range (not labelled Bug Guard) apparently also contains a natural product coumarin which is an effective mosquito repellent. These products have never been sold or marketed as repellents to sidestep US legislation. The Skin So Soft Bath Oil is supposed to be particularly effective as a bug repellent.
Yep, I agree its Woodland from skin-so-soft range, but it is only in the dry oil spray. As a midge magnet I can vouch for its effectiveness, after years of trying other potions. Apparently legislation stops Avon from being able to advertise it as midge repelling cos it is "licensed" as a cosmetic, or something like that!
