It depends how quickly your own nails grow though! You can get away with leaving them longer but if you get them done on this sat they prob won't look that great by new years to be honest! If u get them done the following sat they may just stay looking good for new year.
I had my acrylic nails done yesterday and will get them done in 2 weeks time, in time for the weekend before christmas, my bday, christmas and new year!

Sam I have had acrylic nails done many times and always got on well with them. However, last Thursday I had these new glittery gel nails done for a change and I don't recommend them at all in comparison. They quickly become very untidy around the edges and mine seem to be very brittle and not nearly as hard wearing as the acrylics. By this Tuesday I had already had to go back to the salon for an emergency repair and they hadn't even been on a week! It is now eight days since I had them done and two more have lifted already. Go for the acrylics hon but make sure you have them tidied and filled every fortnight or they will look very shabby.
hi i am a eauty therapist although acrylic is really effective and nice nail extensions they start to go a bit funny after 2 weeks this is because your natural nail is growing underneath and in order to maintain your freshly new nails you will have to go to yr local beauty salon to get infills done .
this would just include buffing over the area and to aplly acrlilic on to the nail again.
