Blackheads
7 Answers
I have blackheads on my nose and they have been there for about 1 year now, when I was younger I never had them(I'm 21 now). I have tried those blackhead strips(ouch) and they only got a few small white heads but nothing else. Does anyone know of anything that will work that will fit into my somewhat tight budget? Please help.

The thing to do tho is stop touching your nose as that will bring them. Are you very nervous? i bet when a woman chats to you or even looks at you, you touch your nose. You need to wash your hands regulalry during the day too. It is a cheap , yet effective way of getting rid of them. Its like now, many people are touching their nose reading this, just feeling to see if they can feel any spots on them...
Have a look at this website. There are lots of home remedies for your blackhead problem.

Regarding your other question I find if you get enough sleep and drink plenty of water it will help with the dark circles under your eyes. The water helps with lymphatic drainage and reduces the build up of toxins in your body.
Hope that helps.

Not too sure about the nose, a bit on the soft side, but if you get a ball point pen, take the inside out, put the thin end of the case over the Blackhead, push in, then take out, the Blackhead normally comes out with it, just leaves a temorary red ring where the pen case had been.

Find yourself an Avon rep or go to their UK website, and have a look at their 'Pure Pore-Fection' range. They do a foamy face wash that you can use daily in place of soap (lasts for weeks), plus various other products that reduce the grease and help close the pores. It's about the only range that seems to do me any good.
Go and get a decent facial which is tailored to your skin type and ask the beautician's advice .
A home facial steamer is good too and some good pore opening face mask and gentle facial scrub.
Keep you diet fresh and healthy, get lots of fresh air, get decent sleep and lots of water, don't clog the pores too much and have a good skincare routine making sure all make up is totally removed as soon as possible (and sweat if you exercise) and avoid cheap and perfumed cosmetics (go through your make up and ditch anything old etc...), moisturers, toners, cleaners etc... Keep it as fresh and simple as possible.
The little Apri pads are great, St Ives and Clean and Clear Morning Burst and the Simple or Garnier range of skin products are very good.
Is there anything where you live which could clog pores and such? I found living in a basement flat made my skin much worse as it was a bit damp.
