I have a formal thing to go to on saturday and dont know what to do with my hair! I've an appointment made at the hairdressers, and would like it simple and all back from my face. It is just below shoulder length, anyone any ideas or pictures?

i think french twists look nice because you can put in pretty diamante clips in or something. hope this helps. have fun!

Scroll down to updo and prom and say no more, there are pages and pages of styles for you! If you see one that you like, you can click on it to enlarge it, copy and paste it onto word or something then print it off and take it to the salon to give the stylist an idea of
A) WHAT YOU HAVE IN MIND.
B) WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE HER/HIM TO TRY.
Speaking as a hairdresser myself, there is nothing worse than a client coming into the salon saying.......
....."I would like a bit hear and a bit there and this like that and that like this!"
All that tells us is that you are not really sure yourself!
Be sure to get it the way you want and remember that if they set it in rollers, it does not always mean curls! It just creates a bit of movement in the hair for the stylist to play about with!
