Anybody know which foundations & concealers that doesn't cause spots (non-comedogenic)? I prone to spots and am already having my acne treated. I just want something that covers well and at the same time does not clog up my pores causing spots!!! I have posted a similar message before but I'm still a bit stuck!! Any suggestions? Thank you in advance

Neutrogena do an oil free skin clearing foundation - I can only find the american website but you can buy the make up here. I know that Superdrug sell it because I have bought it from there before (it's not expensive - less than a tenner if I recall)
Dermalogica foundations are great - they are oil-free and created by dermatologists. You can get them online at www.hqhair.com and from some beauty salons. They are quite pricey (over 20) but you don't need much, the tubes are big, and they last for ages. My sister (who had suffered for years with acne till she discovered Dermalogica products) swears by Dermalogica stuff and goes for their facials. I don't suffer too badly with spots but do get eczema on my face - I find the Dermalogica foundation and Mac's Studio Tech foundation are the best for not upsetting my skin - and the Mac one gives really good coverage for bad skin days, too. Hope you find a product that suits you.

Thanks for your help everyone, I'm looking into this all.
Neither foundation or concealer will actually cause spots, but they are often made with mineral oil as a base and can be hard to remove from the skin again, so if you are using them, make sure to cleanse skin thoroughly every night and tone as well to make sure you didn't miss any bits!

If you are still concerned, try using a foundation primer (try Nars or Ruby & Millie) which stops the product soaking into the skin and showing up on any raised or dry areas on the spots.
A liquid concealer is best, Molton Brown Take Cover Face was amazing, but I haven't used it since they changed the formula...Mac foundations are good for building up coverage, go as sheer or heavy as you need! A brush is best for this, and makes the bottle last twice as long!

(I'm a make-up artist and I'm prone to spots myself!)
