how can i rejuvenate drying mascara?

i've left the cap off is there anything I can do to add some life to my dried mascara? t/y

I'd just buy a new one, theres a risk of eye infection if not!

If its a new-ish mascara, tighten the cap, pop it in a glass of very hot water for a few minutes and this should loosen it, otherwise, as buzybee says, buy a new one, if the mascara is starting to smell old and musty, time to buy a new one !

Or set it on the radiator for a few minutes - thats what I do when mine is coming near the end of its life!

put in in the microwave for about 5 seconds

mascara should be thrown away if its more than 3 months old as its goes off and may cause sore eyes, go out and treat yourself to a new one i am sure you will find one that will be much better than trying to put new life into an old dried up one.
