What are the benefits of waxing over, say, shaving or depilatory creams?

I'm going on holiday in April and want to feel confident in my bikini but I never opt for waxing my bikini area (did once many years ago but had hair growth within a week!). Is waxing really a long term hair removal system, or are you just as prone to hair regrowth, ingrowing hairs etc. etc.?

I used to get my legs waxed, and the first time i got them done it lasted btw a week and two weeks. Second time it lasted 4 weeks, and every time after that it lasted 6 weeks!

So stick with it and get it done for a while before you go away!
Lasts longer, smoother and hair growth gets less the more you do it. I have never had an ingrowing hair in bikini area, just once on my legs. Go for it!
I get ingrowing hair on my bikini line but I use Nads ingrow solution (Yes stupid name but it works) after I wax now and never had one since. If you're going to wax, i would reccomend an anti-ingrow solutiion.
