Terrible Hair Dye job! Help!
3 Answers
I do not know why I let my friend talk me into dying my hair because I should have known better. Anyway I dyed my hair black in the summer '06. So last Sunday she decided she wanted to dye my hair and said, "I do not think its going to work because I dyed my hair black and I think the color will not come out." Of course she is sitting there saying how she had some bleach that can lighten it.
The outcome?
The top of my head where the new hair has grown is an extremely light brown to blonde! The bottom of my hair is still black! I look absolutely ridiciulous. Now my question is my hair is already dry to begin with should I just use the shampoo and deep conditioner I bought from the salon and how long can I wait before I redye it?
I think I should just go to the salon and have my hairstylist fix this mess but I just want to know when I can set up my appointment. Also.... will she only be a ble to dye my hair black or possibly dye it brown?
Black is starting to really bore me but I would rather deal with that than no hair hehe...

Dont panic.... ok do panic...... No only joking, you might be best to go to the salon, they do have a stripping product that may be able to get part of the dye out then they would probably have to do it black again or a very dark brown. this might be good though as some of the brown dyes lock moisture into the hair instead og the bleachs that strip it.Fear not though they might be able to sort what has already been done, of course we cant see it from here but there might be a way they can add some colours so it doesnt look that bad! what ever you do dont try it again yourself, go and see them ASAP! In the mean time, get a good deep moisture treatment and leave it on for over 20 minutes, that should hopefully soften it up a bit. Good luck! Melons.

Hey, I agree you should go to the salon and let them sort it out as they do have a stripping product (as melons said). I had black hair, then last summer decided i wanted to go brown, so bleached it, i had to bleach it around 3 times to get all of the black out and my hair was left super dry, matted and completely breaking offwhenever i tried to brush it! I was almost in tears seriously!!!Anyways, put a brown dye on top of it, was fine just too dry, kept it brown for a week, felt boring so whacked black back on top of it! And kept it black to this day!
