Hair colouring

I have fair hair which I highlight every three/four months. I would very much like to dye the ends PURPLE this year, I did use a washout colour last summer but it did just that. It kept washing out and I was having to apply frequently this year I would very much like it to stay a vibrant purple throughtout the summer months.
CAN ANYONE SUGGEST A PRODUCT?
