why is it these days hairy vaginas are considered less attractive than shaved ones?

The vagina being an internal part of the female anatomy, I cant imagine why anyone would ever have a hairy one unless there is something seriously wrong with them.

Sorry I forgot to answer your question, I think the example you give is like many others happening nowadays, it's the dictationship of beauty, all the magazines and media in general show skinny girls, so they get to be considered the beautiful ones. Probably same with hairy parts, I've seen a few porn movies my bf have and most of the women are totally shaved (or waxed, whatever)... seems to be what's considered beautiful for the standards now.
