as anyone tried a reasonably priced lipo that actually didnt need constant reapplication, fed up of buying some branded names that only last a couple of minute

I am really fussy about my lippy and I have found both Boots own and The Bodyshop are very good. Apply a bit of foundation or translucent powder first...helps it last.

You need lipcote, then you will never need to re touch and you will end up with loads of lippys as they never run out!! I've used it for years. I remember that it did sting abit at first but it doesn't after a few uses.

Colour endure by L'oreal is good. Its a bit more pricey, but lasts for ages

I agree with Le Chat about Lipcote, but I've also tried Lipfinity - Max Factor I think. It stays on all day and you just put a topcoat on (separate thing, comes with it) if you want it to look fresh. The colour itself is more like a stain, but goes on like a lippy. They're about a tenner in Boots, but fab value for money. Failing that, look on ebay. I tried the testers in Boots, made my choice, then bought a brand new one on ebay for 3.50!

Max factor lip finity is excellent. It costs about a tenner, but the colour lasts all day and re-apply the gloss as and when you want. Makes me look like a movie star!

Definitely Lipcote. That way you can use it on all your lipsticks!

I totally agree about max factor lipfinity! I brought it on holidays once, put it on one night and couldn't get it off again! I had to buy baby oil to remove it - its the only thing that keeps it on!

It stayed on through a meal, a night of drinking and a night of passion with my bf! And was still on the next morning!
