okay so this is really random and no one may be able to help but i'm hoping some one does! I have a big final project for school and it is called the 'decades project' and my group has the 40's! and i am in charge of the fashion!! i really need help with this!! so if anyone has any web links or just any tips/ideas at all on how to do the make up or just what it looked like and/or what they wore please please email me at [email protected] Thank you!!

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Not sure where you live, but it would be worth checking out your local museum for inspiration cause many of them have clothes throughout the ages. Even if they are not on display the curator may let you have a look through the storage areas and get photos to add a great 'local' angle to your project - many of the clothes are usually donated by local people. Again, it depends where you live, but if you're near a big city you might be in luck (Preston and York museums have good fashion sections). Good luck with the project!
