tanning creams
i like to have a tan and have used tanning creams like nivea and johnson etc but i found they always left a musty smell especially when im in bed at night ( thats when i can smell it the worse) why is this and are there any that dont smell, does st tropez im going to try it never tried it b4 and is there a certain one to use or a certain way to use it, please help, no more sunbeds for me

Unfortunately, it does have a smell of 'biscuits' or 'vinegar.' The manufacturers of the creams add perfume to attempt to counteract the smell but unless there's a fake tan that I've missed, none are 100% successful. Even if the cream smells lovely in the bottle, once it is in contact with your skin and the air, the 'fake tan' smell tends be predominant.

I've got the St Tropez daily moisturiser. It's really nice. You're meant to use it in the morning, but you get a great even colour develop after about three days. My cousin has it too. People have commented on it to me and she was asked the other day where she'd been on holiday. Gives you a great golden hue. I've not noticed a smell either, although this may be because it's a daily moisturiser. Regardless, it's fab! I wouldn't use another one now.
