Fluffy Face Hair

I have very fine hair on my face that I notice alot in the sunshine, does anyone know how to get rid of it, I know its probably something to do with hormones but don't want to go on the pill. Had hubby neutered ; )

i think you are probably worrying more than necessary. I have quite a covering of fluff that as you say really only noticed when the sun makes it very light and my face gets a nice tan. I spoke to a beautician about it saying i wanted to do something about it and she said I was being ridiculous and there was nothing there. I accepted this and it really has not bothered me since but perhaps if there has been change it would be worth mentioning to a doctor? sorry not giving you a solution.

ps...........i did mention using a kind of buffer pad thing to smooth it down and was told would just make it worse and to leave well alone.

I bet no one else notices - we all notices things on ourselves that others don't.

A friend of mine had her face threaded (i think that's the right term for it) once for fine face hair and liked the result but you do have to do it often I think, plus we didn't go into detail on the subject.

Personally, if it was me and it was bugging you that much then I'd ask a really good genuine buddy what their opinion was and see what they say and then decide what to do.

I think joannie right. If it not too bad I'd leave well alone. These things are normally seasonal and age related. I kno someone who didn't leave it alone and now has to resort to shaving because the hair has become so thick

I use this little disc thing that looks a bit like slate and you just rub it over the hairs and they come out. You can get them from those little magazines you get free with the newspapers - used to be called Innovations I think.
