Holiday hair protection

I'm off to Spain on Sunday, have highlighted hair which I straighten everyday. I've been using various heat protection sprays creams. Can anyone recommend a spray that would not only protect my hair against straighteners but also against the hot Spanish sunshine?

I would imagine a heat protection spray should protect against the heat whether it's sun or straightners? I use a charles worthington heat protection spray (put on towel dryed hair) which I think is really good and smells lovely. I remember boots doing a sun haircare range (it's in blue packaging and their own brand) which is for people who are going on hols/spending time in sun. I got the shampoo and conditioner one year and liked it. Don't remember it being expensive either.

my friend uses a boots number 7 hair sun protector - not sure of exact name but is in an orangy bottle. She likes it.

any decent leave in hair conditioner will do, and i'd suggest you wear a hat. my hair is highlighted & i went to spain for a week recently, it was fine and i didn't use anything on it, so don't worry too much :-)
