Lop-Sided Haircut
Had my hair cut on Thursday night, my usual salon but not the usual girl, she was on holiday and I had to have it done for the weekend.
While still in the chair I said it felt a wee bitty heavy around the bottom, which she thinned a wee bit.
On leaving the salon the first thing my husband said was it was lop sided. On trying to dry it over the weekend I've noticed that it does seem wrong. It's not terribly bad, but I do notice it when I look in the mirror.
I popped in on Monday night hopping they could just tidy it up a bit, but since the girl that done it and my usual girl weren't in no one was wiling to do anything to it in case they made it worse.
So they've arranged an appointment for me tonight, with my ususal girl.
Will they expect me to pay again for it? All I had wanted was someone to even it up a bit, I like the style. And now I'm worried that since I've managed to get it sitting relatively nice today I'm making it up!
Sorry for the long post, but I hate the hairdressers at the best of times without going in and being a nuisance.

I made the mistake of getting my hair done in a chain once and they ruined my hair and refused to give me a refund or fix it, but I would say that a smaller salon would not behave in the same way

I have been back to hairdressers many times because I was not satisfied with a cut...now I'm not a whingebag. (maybe a bit of a nuisance) ...just expect that I can do my hair when I come out of the salon.
Lots of factors can alter how your hair sits. The 'specialist' or hairdresser is often able to make it sit really neat even if the cut is not quite right...others you know its not right but daren't say incase you offend someone or cause a scene.
(Often a salon deliberately would choose to put you with a different stylist to avoid any embarrassment anyway so I'm surprised noone else would correct it)
Don't let it deter you- go back in there unashamed request that the cut be made even and as long as you remain graceful and don't peeve anyone off they should do the same. They are providing a service and if it was worth the money they are charging then they should amend it free. I would not even offer to pay again!

It al went fine, just me worrying as usual.
My usual girl just thinned it out a bit, said the hair wasn't longer, just too heavy on one side making it look longer (which I personally equate to being not cut right int he first place!). She did it without having to wash it, and it looks so much better.
Glad I went back in and now know that I shouldn't two time my hairdresser!
Thanks for the moral support though!
