Ok, so I have been very brave and bought meself an epilator. After I'd got over the excrutiating pain of the first time (nearly screamed the house down), I have finally overcome the pain and now can use it quite happily. Im noticing a real difference in my hair growth - there is definately less! but the problem is that i cant seem to get a completely smooth finish on my legs. I can always feel 'stubble' even though I exfoliate before doing it. Any advice?

Not posting with a solution - just to say I have the same problem. I suspect the epilators just can't catch hold of the tiniest hairs. I have noticed though that if you epilate more often the problem reduces - hairs are all at different parts of their growth cycles so if you can get to a stage where they are all at the earliest stage their will be less peeping out on the surface. I usually just have to have a quick shave or normal wax in addition to epilating for special occasions.
oooooh the pain, I remember it ripping hairs from my legs and at the ankles it was unbearable and I chucked it in the bin, perhaps I should have persevered if it gets easier

silky mits would help with the tiny hairs (Boots sell them)
Do you exfoliate just before, according to the instructions on mine you should leave a number of days in between

I exfoliate once or twice a week (dont do it immediately before epilating - usually the morning or evening before) and then before I epilate, I rub my legs to sort of get the hairs to poke up! Soooo attractive!
ooh i tried those silky mits n took me ages to do just one leg and really stung as well! although i use the facial ones and theyre great!
Those silky mitts brought me out in a rash. Epilators are a definite no-no for me.
I have found that after a few times you just don't feel it anymore and it makes me very smooth, which setting do you use, I only use the stronger one for everything.
