Hair Dye

I wet my hair every morning as it is naturally curly, so I use a conditioner to get the frizz out. How soon after my hair is dry from a morning conditioner can I dye it?

When I get my hair coloured at the hairdressers they colour my dry hair which I've washed at home then wash and cut and style it. They do ask that I don't use conditioner the morning I'm having it coloured though. Maybe it doesn't help the dye to stick to the hair.
