Lipstick that is like a solid lip gloss

Years ago I had a really great lipstick. It looked deep red but once applied it went almost transparent and glossy. It was lovely. It wasn't sticky like a gloss. Has anyone got any idea what it might have been ?

Sounds to me like Transparent Burgundy by Max Factor. I was mad on it 30 yrs ago! Don't know if they still do it though.

I bought something last week, which sounds just like what you're looking for. It's called 2true Glossywear Lipstick, from Superdrug. I bought shade 10, which I love!

Have you tried Glam Shine Cream by Loreal?

They go on like a lipstick and look like a gloss but without the stickiness! And they smell gorgeous too!

wispy68, I went into Superdrug and couldn't find it so I asked about it but no-one knew anything about it :-(
Was it definately Superdrug ?
