hair extensions
Im going to let my daughter put about 30 pre tiped hair extensions in next week, weve found instructions on a couple of hair sites but just wondered if any one out there has any tips on how to do it so not to end up totally bald, (only joking)any good tips on what to and not to do would be appreciated.

I spent around 400 having extensions put in, and a further 12 for a bottle of special shampoo and another 12 for special conditoner. They continuously fell out, and I had to go back every 2 or 3 weeks and pay 40 to have the hair glued back in. Overall I think I had them in for about 3 months and they were the biggest waste of money of my life.
I now use clip-in hair extensions and think they're amazing. I wear 3 strips of hair that have clips on them to hold them to the scalp. They stay in all day, and I take them out to sleep at night. They don't damage the hair or pull it out and are much cheaper (my latest set were 40). They last for ever providing you look after them (they are real hair, so you get split ends and it can become dry). I wash them once or twice a week and that's all the care you need really. I'd recommend them to anyone.
Lots of places sell them now, so they'd be easier to come by. Please do not get glued in extensions!
Good luck!

Hi, I would agree with you to some extent regarding glue in hair extensions but it does depend on who fits them and how good they are. My wife fits glue in hair extensions is very good at it, and has a long list of returning customers. She specialises in creating small bonds. These set harder, and therefore the hair stays in for much longer.
