anti-breakage shampoo

I'm experiencing a little bit of breakage in the roots of my hair. What is the best anti-breakage shampoo, preferably for coloured hair, one that really works?

Hi Casey, I use the RedKen Extreme Anti-Snap shampoo and leave in conditioner, and i've found that it really has helped my bad ends. Not sure so much about roots, but it does actually work. other than that, have regular trims, avoid using straighteners too much or over processing your hair.

Wella System Professional 1.2 Repair Shampoo & 2.2 Repair Creme conditioner. You can only get them in Wella Elite salons. After using this line I would never buy normal shampoos from the shops!

If your hair is breaking off at the roots, this sounds like a poor diet/stress problem. By all means try shampoos and conditioners, but take a look at your diet and lifestyle too
