Hi, I would like to know a good eye make up remover, I have tried several but they seem to irritate the creases at the sides of my eyes. I am allergic to lanolin and would prefer something without alcohol.

You could try the camomile eye make up remover from Body shop. It is not cheap. I have very sensitive skin, although not eczema, and have found this to be very gentle.
You know what works really well? Baby oil on a cotton pad. Very simple but effective.
I had terrible eczema around my eyes about 18 months ago......i found that E45 Emolliant Wash was very good for loosening really resistant mascara......follow it with acquaeous creme...and most should come off. Don't rub..as this could aggravate the problem.
I have very sensitive eyes - can only use certain makeup & mascara & also wear lenses. Also allergic to lanolin. I have used Boots eye remover pads for years. Cheap & good. Quickies are also the same. You don't need to drag the skin, just gently remove the mascara etc.

They are basically just thin cotton type pads soaked in liquid paraffin. Just wipe the oil off with a soft tissue afterwards.
I have psoriasis on my face and everything stings but Liz Earle cleanse and polish is wonderful. All the ingredients are completely natural and doesn't irritate the skin at all.
I will never ever use anything else. I use her moisturiser as well. www.lizearle.com
Have to agree with that Jillius, Liz Earle cleanse & polish is great, very gentle and does't sting even if you get it in your eyes!
Seems a bit pricey at first, but a little goes a long way so its well worth it.
Hi
I too have eczema and the two things that I have found that are lovely on my skin are the Clarins foaming facial wash (which removes eye make up brilliantly, but make sure you get the one for dry or sensitive skin cos the other one will sting!):

or the no7 4 in 1 wipes from Boots:

Both are very gentle and mild on my skin and I'm really pleased I discovered them as I used to try to wash my makeup off with only water, and then had to stop wearing it for a while as I had no way of taking it off that didn't sting the life out of my skin!
