Is anybody watching the film that has just come on called sahara if you press the info button on the sky remote it tells you what the film is about.

It describes the film as being a search for a stranded american civil war battleship in the sahara dessert.

Now how the bloody hell did they get a big battleship into the sahara dessertin the first place then.

Or am I just being a little tik here.

It is a story by Clive Cussler who uses similar plots in all his Dirk Pitt novels...sometime in the past an event happens which leaves Dirk with a mystery to solve to save the world. This one involves a Civil War ironclad breaking through a blockade and keepin' on goin' across the Atlantic, up a river in Africa and being stranded when the water table shifts leaving it stranded in the ever growing Sahara desert.
