Bum Spots!
Could you please suggest remedies for spots on the bum other than Sudocream, Fucidin H cream and just general exfoliating! My friend is 24 and she has had this issue for a long time - since early teens, and has tried everything!
In the summer when she's on the beach it gets better with the sun and salt water, but then when stuck in London it gets worse because it's hotter and obviously we sweat more, she can't get her bum out all the time!

The only time I ever suffered with them was when I used some travel wash when I went away on holiday. Came back, changed the powder and they were gone.
Was also wondering if she should changer her underwear, the fabric I mean! Perhaps she is wearing a fabric against her skin that doesn't let it breath - alternatively, go commando, it is so liberating!

After? I know that she does it in the shower, would after make a difference?
My suggestion was that perhaps she was aggravating it too much, ... or that maybe she should try alternative medicines or therapies. Rather like when you have spots in certain places on your face and where they are is an indicator of the cause (hormones, pollution, stress, some sort of deficiency), maybe these are a similar telling sign.
I know that they really bother her, and that she is very self-concious of them...!

I would be very pleased to report back to her the commando suggestion! And thank you for the detergent advice. I might encourage her to use the ecover lavander non-bio as I have sensitive skin and it works perfectly for me!
They are a sort of acne I believe (and incidently her face is blemish free).

I linked her to this and this was the reply:
Nice one dude! They're all really good. Can you say that I have tried commando or thongs at least (it only exists within my knicker line) but unless I'm wearing cotton trousers, jeans and stuff just irritate it more? I will try the sleeping commando thing though! I also always use talcum powder after a shower, and exfoliate, but not everyday as I don't want to rub it raw!

Hi,I think the best way to get rid of it is natural bath treatment or some masks that you can rub into your skin. For some good ideas about how to make it by yourself at home go and download ready beauty skin guide, here ;
