I tried to remove my acryllics myself and it just wasn't happening.
I even got special nail remover which said it was for removing acryllic nails and soaked them for ages.
I ended up going to a salon and getting them taken off properly.
If you've had them on for a while then make sure you give your nails some tlc as it's taken mine a while to get back to normal and it's put me off having them done again a bit.

oooh that happened to me when i was a kid and i still remember the pain. u know what little girls are like wanting to be all grown up so my mum gave in and bought me them - they were 20p!! well it was 18yrs ago! we tried to remove them on the sun nite before i went back to school and they ripped my actual pinkie nail off.
dont try to pull or force them off as this causes damage and trauma to the actual nail bed (plus your natural nail wont grow in as strong either. when im doing the acrylic nails a lot of people have complained that their nails are paper thin & breaking but then they tell me that they tried to pull the extensions off. u can buy a soak that is designed specifically to remove false/acrylic nails. this is widely available in superdrug and boots or if you have a branch of Sally Hair and Beauty/SalonServices near you
