New study by Hungarian scientists says that women invariably and in the majority , tend to marry men who look like or resemble their father .One example they cite for this is zoe ball , apparently her hubby looks very much like her dad .

Now i know guys checkout the girlfriends mum when they're dating , merely to see how the girlfriend may end up looking as she ages .
So ladies think of your friends and do any of them have hubby's who look a bit similar to their dads?
This is a serious scientific research apparently .

In many cases people marry those who resemble themselves. It's something to do with being comfortable and at ease with someone who has a familiar look - our own.
Except, blimey, I hope I don't look like el tel! And he does not look like my dad either.

Have a look at wedding photos in the local papers..... Also when looking at peoples children it is often the case they look like mum AND dad, and then you notice how similar looking the parents actually are.

Totally disagree.......me & spouse never met parents before our union. Though, am told by associates that we look alike.

Look at some wedding photos you see the wife and the sister .then when you look again .
theres only one woman thetre .

my ex looked just like my dad, it was uncanny.

I don't understand why this should come about (I don't have a reason to dispute the findings). People go for genetic diversity, surely the above would upset this?
