You need to spend some good money on a shampoo and conditioner, Dove is a NONO and any other cheap conditioner fills your hair with cheap oils. Spend a little and you will see results..
If you want budget then go for Paul Mitchell but it sint the best by a long way.

Hi,
The best conditioner I have ever treid is by Aussie-Miracle Moist. It smells delicioous and really is amazing for the hair. It's a little bit expensive but totally worth it and they often have offers on it in superdrug, boots or even places like Tesco!
I would strongly recommend it...and The Aussie Shampoo to with maccadia nut- GORGEOUS smell, oh my gosh!!!!

^ Very bad advice, the conditioner penetrates your hair YES but the products in cheap conditioner make your hair reliant on them. These ingredients are the same ingredients that eventually starve your hair.
Use expensive conditioners which are tested extensively for ongoing effects go with a good brand you can trust. NOT 'bog standard' conditioner as advised by Rachael.
Bad advice...
You are right in saying condition once a week though... so well done for the part of your answer that was correct Rachael. lol

not really bad advice i done it myself b4 and it worked wonders you do not need to buy expensive conditioner at all if u read the ingrediance on a cheap bottle of shampoo r conditioner and look on a expensive brand it is practictly th same as i am a hairdresser i know what i am talking about it does work just get a cheap bottle from asda i get th ones what r 91p a bottle xxxxxx
Just becuase you are a hairdresser Rachael doesnt mean you know about biological ingredients in formulated compunds. TRUST ME. There is a reason why 91p conditioners are cheap.
Im sorry to say that the only thing you probably know about conditioners is that they soften your fair after a shampoo. hairdressers are not taught about the harmfulness of certain cheap ingredients found in cheap hair products..
''Im a hairdresser'' - lol whats that got to do with it?!

i do not think u are a hairdresser at all so sorry but i think u r lying or a realy crap hairdresser
it is 91p because its not dove r anything its just cheaper and also if u were a hairdresser in college n uni u would do a thing called theary and u learn stuff like that i done 3 years at college doing it and i just started doing it at uni for an extra few years and to learn more so i think i do know what i am talking about .
i am done arrgueing with you sorry but u just made me mad

'Theory work' in hairdressing DOES NOTcover any scientific effects/make up of conditioner Rachael, we are talking about ingredients used, NOT how good you are at hairdressing. 2 completely different things. I really pity you if you think you are doing your hair favours by using 91pence conditioner lol. Im not going to brag about my knowledge to you Rachael as i dont need to prove my experience in this field of study but what i will tell you is, ALL hairdressing courses in the UK do not focus on scientific compounds in hair products. This is left to scientific sectors. Hairdressing courses have nothing to do with science... do a google search.
Ina Hairdressing course, the main focus will be on creativity, design and salon management... So im afraid you are wrong.
And i will summarize by saying in this market, you only get what you pay for.
If you willing to spend 25 puounds on a decent conditioner coupled with a decent shampoo, i can guarantee you will see an improved moisture lock in your hair.
Also, look out for shampoos and conditioners containing any type of silicone compounds in them as they may produce shine temporarily, but damage your hair no end in the long run.
Thanks and i hope you find this informative. :)
