Fake eyelashes
I'm one of those girls that seems to be rubbish at everything so am really quite nervous about trying fake eyelashes, but I think they look so lovely sometimes. Anyone got any tips for me? I was thinking of buying the individual lashes, but are they too fiddley to put on?

Ah, I am the false eyelash queen. :) Don't bother with the individual lashes- too much faffing about.
Are you planning on wearing them for a special occasion? If so, make sure you practice putting them on a few times before the night, as they can be a bit fiddly when you're not used to them.
I only ever use Eylue lashes; they're really well priced and last for ages once you know how to look after them.. http://www.eylure.com/products/lashes/
Before you apply them, use eye liner along the top of your lashes (this will hide a gap if you 'mis-stick' them) and put on your mascara as you would usually. When everything is dry, apply the glue to the lashes and leave for about ten seconds until the glue is tacky. To put them on, use tweezers- it's so much easier than using your fingers. Line them up on your eyelid and plonk them on. Use the tweezers to move along the lash and gently push against your eyelid so they stick down evenly. Don't use mascar on top of them- they will only clump and stick to your own eyelashes and you won't be able to re-use them.
To remove them, pull them gently from the outside corners (be careful you don't pull them out of shape). After a couple of wears, the glue might build up, but you can pull this off (really carefully!) with your tweezers.
Hope that's all helpful. :)
