They can give you skin cancer, they can give you wrinkles and the tan doesn't look natural anyway.
i think maybe having one tanning sesion just once when you really need a tan for an occation is fine, but honestly I would never go near one lol.

They just arnt worth the damage you know ?! :)

and the tans never look that great, people are better off with spray( thats not an ogange one) or just a natural tan hehe. personaly though i dont like tanned skin im one of those people who like the look of plae skin :)
my friends just been diagnosed with skin cancer aged 28. the first thing her brother said to her, well shouted at her was i told you not to use sunbeds

she was addicted to them. even when we went abroad she'd slap on the oil and i'd have a good sunscreen on.

being a spray tanner thats definately the way to go. the amount my friend payed on sunbeds a month she could have 2 or 3 spray tans a month which would be more than enough
My husband died a year ago with skin cancer so if there is even the slightest risk of sun beds causing this, stay well clear, it is not worth it.
they are disgusting and should be banned.

Sunbeds are everywhere nowadays. Does this mean that in 5-10years there will be a very large increase in skin cancer??

So many people use them, they have become quite a big seller to businesses.
The number of cases of skin cancer recorded is already rising alarmingly.

About 65,000 cases of skin cancer are reported in the UK each year, with 2,000 proving fatal. Malignant melanoma, the worst form of skin cancer, has become the third most common cancer seen in 15-24-year olds and is now the fastest growing cancer in Britain.
A friend regularly uses them. Personally, I would'nt touch one!
i work in the hair and beauty industry and all the girls like to look tanned, and one girl at work used the sunbed last friday, 9mins, was red like a lobster and still went on again on Monday. So now she is peeling, red no tan, and probably added 10years onto her apperance and increased risk of skin cancer. Not worth it at all. Its nice to be tanned, but really at what cost?
My husband was diagnoised with skin cancer 3 years ago and this was down to sunbeds. I think they are a bad bad idea. Use spray tan instead!
