Salon Facial
Have you ever had a professional facial done in a salon? Approx how much did you pay, was it worth it & how long did the effect last? I'd never really thought about it until a friend recently mentioned she'd like one so I'm considering going too - we could both do with a bit of cheering up.

Any one of you crinklies tried the Protect & Perfect face slap? I've resisted it until now but desperation's leading me to something a bit more upmarket than the 99p counter.

morning...<checks mirror....mmm, not even 10 minutes younger>
oh tut neti I was so convinced it was you when I heard 'Spain'. Hope it's gone to a generous soul, how do you say 'Send me 250 grand please' in Spanish?
Thanks Dolly, don't worry, even the swifts were late for me this year, I've seen the first one this morning...hurray!

Note for Robinia: Have tried the Protect & Perfect - several tubes! Doesn't remove the wrinkles, but does seem to soften the skin and makes you think they are less visible. Same goes for Siana from Aldi - and that's much cheaper but don't know what the long term effect of that will be. Will have to check with Neti next month, whether or not I've wasted time and money!
I still use the Aldi one Robinia not Siana but Lacura It's got avocado or something in it .I have greasy skin and it'sthe best stuff I have found that doesn't sit on my face like an oil slick .It sinks in and doesn't make my face itch unlike that awful Olay stuff I tried .
I did splash out on some lovely Elizabeth Arden foundation recently though which is fab and covers a multitude of sins :).
At 61 I don't hold out much hope on my wrinkly bits improving much now and my fortune is made albeit a raggedy arsed one as my old Mum used to say . I still do the old cold cream and hot flannel routine though followed by toner which does help a bit .
Hope you are all OK ..I have been garden bashing .Got my brothers gardener coming round next week to see if he can sort out the big work for me .
Have a nice time in Whitby Jude ..toodlepip for now folks ,have to cook :(
