Treating rosacea is tricky, as lots of things just make it worse. Speak to your GP first, and see if he or she can recommend any sort of treatment and the best place to get it done.
I agree with barry. It's not for a beauty clinic to treat but a dermatologist. Many of my friends, we're at that age! here in France go along to a dermatologist to get it treated.
British Red Cross have trained voluntary staff i.e. Cosmetic Camoflage who deal in this sort of skin problem. You need a referral from your G.P.
Our local hospital has a dermatology section that deals with this. If I were you I would book an appointment with your GP and try and get a referral.
I recently came across a pretty good blog post on the subject of rosacea on https://hackyourselfpretty.com/ and there were some pretty good tips for anyone suffering from this. One of the key points was eating a healthy diet. I know from experience that when I don’t eat very well combined with a more stressful lifestyle, I start to see a little rosacea forming on my cheeks and nose, but I know it can be much worse and more painful for some. Maybe try some of the suggestions from the blog and see if any of them help at all. You might find some success.
